New dates are now available for our Free 60-Minute Specialty Clinics at the Student Clinic this summer.
These sessions provide focused, therapeutic care delivered by advanced students who work under the close supervision of experienced Registered Massage Therapists. While these treatments take place in an educational setting and are not considered professional massage therapy, they follow therapeutic protocols designed to support clients dealing with specific conditions and help improve comfort and mobility.
In July, the specialty clinics will address a range of needs, including breast massage therapy focusing on sensitive area scar tissue, support for individuals recovering from joint replacements involving the knees, hip, or prosthetics, and care for those seeking healing support related to cancer. We’ll also be offering rehabilitative sessions aimed at helping clients with stroke recovery and mobility, as well as support for individuals dealing with spinal cord injuries and other neurological disorders.
Our Student Clinic is known for providing treatments in private, comfortable rooms and is praised for the quality of care and supervision our clients receive. Many clients choose to return for regular student clinic treatments, which are an affordable option for maintaining their health and well-being while contributing to the education of future Registered Massage Therapists.
These specialty sessions are offered at no cost to qualifying clients, with a limit of one session per person per week. Availability is limited and spots tend to fill quickly.
If you’re interested in finding out whether you qualify or would like to book an appointment, we encourage you to reach out by phone at 416-447-7687 or email us at info@rccmt.com. Our clinic is located at 1446 Don Mills Road in North York.
We look forward to welcoming you to the RCC Student Clinic this summer!
Term 1 and Term 2 emphasis is placed on learning basic knowledge of the Human Body. In Term 3 and Term 4 the focus will be on the application, knowledge, and the refinement of clinical skills.
