LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT 

At RCC, our commitment to truth and reconciliation begins with acknowledging the land on which we learn, teach, and practice.

The Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy is located on land stewarded by the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat Nations. We acknowledge Treaty 13 (Toronto Purchase) signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and the Williams Treaties, signed with multiple Mississauga and Chippewa First Nations. This territory is also part of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes in peace and collective responsibility.

Today, this land continues to be home to many diverse Indigenous peoples, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit. We are grateful for the continuous Indigenous stewardship of these lands and waters.

As a college rooted in health and healing, RCC is committed to ongoing learning and to taking meaningful steps toward truth and reconciliation - guided by respect, humility, and a sense of shared responsibility.
