TENS / Ultrasound Courses

Course Dates: July 15, 2017

Duration: 9:30am to 2:30pm

Introduction:  TENS is a non-evasive treatment to reduce pain and may also encourage the release of endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain killers.  This method is applied by means of a small battery powered machine attached to wires and electrodes that are placed on the skin, and electric impulses are transmitted into specific nerves to treat acute and chronic pain.

Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to penetrate deep into the body to increase circulation, improve blood flow, reduce pain, and speed up healing time.
