This high quality course has been carefully designed as an accelerated program for health professionals in mind. In this course you will accomplish and learn the theory and practice of acupuncture. Emphasis will be placed on developing the necessary competencies to operate a successful acupuncture practice. A brief history, fundamental principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Clean Needle Technique are included for comprehensiveness. Cosmetic Acupuncture (CA)
Anti-aging is a billion dollar industry. Learn the latest techniques where East meets West integrating basic TCM theory for lasting results. Various techniques and anti-aging products are explored.
Auricular Acupuncture (AA)
The ear is a map with reflex points similar to reflexology. The ear, likened to an inverted fetus has over 365 points. Auricular acupuncture can be used alone or reinforced with other therapeutic modalities. History, theory, point location, various techniques and function are explored including protocols for weight-loss, smoking, addiction, anxiety, etc.
Scalp acupuncture is a specialized acupuncture technique with specific zones on the scalp. Historically, from TCM, it uses the centimeter not the "cun" for the measurement of these various zones. Excellent for stroke, MS, SCI, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), head injuries, neurasthenia, anxiety neurosis, and other psychological and psychosomatic disorders, periarthritis of the shoulders, ischialgia, pain in the back and loin, painful heels, and other pain syndromes, aphasia, senile dementia, and other brain disorders.
Sound Healing (SH)
Visionaries have predicted the future of medicine lies in sound, vibration and frequency. "Energy" or "Sound Medicine" is here. Various techniques and instruments will be explored as well as using one's own voice for a wide range of health challenges including stress, stuttering, laryngitis PMS, anxiety, etc.
