Acupuncture for Health Care Professionals

Modern Medical Acupuncture Diploma Program

Instructors:  Dr. Amanda Huang and Zander Townend
Total Hours: 250

This high quality course has been carefully designed for as an accelerated program for health professionals in mind. In this course you will accomplish learn the theory and practice of acupuncture. Emphasis will be placed on developing the necessary competencies to operate a successful acupuncture practice. For this reason this course will concentrate on developing specific skills for the most commonly seen conditions in an acupuncture practice in Canada. These include but are not limited to:

  • Muskulo Skeletal Conditions
  • Low Back Pain
  • Neck Pain
  • Addiction
  • Sciatica

You will learn how to treat these conditions utilizing acupuncture as well as other adjunctive modalities such as:

  • Laser
  • Infrared Lamps
  • Electro Acupuncture
  • Computer Based Diagnostics
  • Scrapping and Cupping Among Others.

Full-Time Certified Acupuncture Health Care Professional

Instructors:  Dr. Amanda Huang and Zander Townend
Length:  12 Months
Total Hours:  1500
Full-time Certified Acupuncture Health Care Professional Program is a full-time, one year, 1500 hour program that will allow students to receive advanced standing into the RMT Diploma Program.
